Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, optional
  • Olive oil for cooking chicken

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Fettuccine Pasta

  • Boil a large pot of salted water.
  • Add the fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
  • Drain the pasta and set aside.

Step 2: How to Cook Chicken for Alfredo Recipe

  • While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it into strips. Set aside.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan,
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, just until it's aromatic.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, blending everything together.
  • Simmer the mixture gently for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Combine the Chicken Alfredo

  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken strips to the sauce.
  • Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the Alfredo sauce.
  • Top with freshly chopped parsley and serve while hot.
